Golden Delicious ®Reinders

Golden Delicious Reinders is a clone of Golden Delicious. Its yield is high, regular and constant every year. It has an exceptional storage capacity – it can be stored in a ULO cold room until the end of July. The fruit is of medium size. The skin is yellow-green, turning more intensely yellow as the fruit ripens. The fruits are smooth with a nice, elongated shape. They are smoother than the Golden Delicious Clone B and much more resistant to powdery mildew. The flesh is of medium firmness, very succulent with a wonderful taste and aroma.

It is self-sterile, therefore Granny Smith, Royal Gala and Starking serve as good pollinators.

The variety ripens at the beginning and middle of September.
